There's still time this year to take care of winterizing your boat to insure there will be no problems when you're ready to launch for that first trip next spring. Doing this now will give you peace of mind through the long winter and will help preserve the "like new" performance of your boat and motor.

MirroCraft Winterization Tips

  • Make sure drain plug is out and all the water is out of livewells, etc.
  • Before storing / covering your boat, make sure your boat is dry to avoid mildew, etc., in the spring and store your boat in a position where all water would drain out of it.
  • Charge batteries to give them a full charge before storing.
  • Give your boat a good cleaning, repack trailer bearings and check your propeller so come spring you’re ready to go.
  • Please refer to your engine manual or servicing dealer to winterize your engine properly.
  • Finally, take an inventory of tackle, etc., so you can put together a nice Christmas list.
