(1) Where can I purchase parts for my boat?
If your MirroCraft
boat is current within the last 3 years, it is necessary to contact
your MirroCraft dealer direct for accessories or parts.
(2) Can I order parts factory direct?
If your MirroCraft boat is older than 3 years, it may be necessary
to contact MirroCraft parts and service department. In doing so,
it is absolutely necessary to provide the serial number. No
order will be serviced without the serial number. Most parts are
available up to 10 years.
(3) Do you have a parts and accessories catalog?
MirroCraft does not supply a parts and accessories catalog.
(4) Where can I get an owner’s manual?
Each MirroCraft is shipped with a boat owners manual. In the
event you do not get an owners manual with your new boat purchase,
please contact your dealer. In the event you purchase a used boat
without an owners manual, you may purchase a current edition of
the MirroCraft Boat Owners Manual. Please provide the serial
number of your boat. Cost in all cases is $9.95 USD plus $2.00
USD postage fee.
(5) Where can I get touch-up paint for my boat?
We provide touch-up paint for boats within the current 3 year
range. While this paint is an exact match to the boat colors,
we can not guarantee a match due to the varying effect the weather/sun
may have on your boat. Your MirroCraft dealer can provide
color information and prices.
(6) Where can I get retail boat prices?
It is necessary to contact your local MirroCraft dealer for all
boat and package pricing. There is no person authorized
at MirroCraft’s office to provide this information.
(7) How much is my trade in worth?
This information can best be obtained through your MirroCraft
dealer - as a general guideline you may want to consult N.A.D.A.
Guides.com.
(8) Can I pick up my boat at the factory?
Arrangements can be made to pick up your boat directly from the
factory, however, these arrangements must be made through the
selling dealer.
(9) What warranty coverage is on my boat?
Warranty is provided on new boats to the original purchaser and
can not be transferred. For a complete copy, please contact your
local dealer.
(10) What is an H.I.N.?
H.I.N. (Hull Identification Number) is a series of numbers which
provide the hull serial number and other pertinent information.
It can be found on the upper outside stbd (right) transom.
This number must always be provided when requesting information
on your boat.
(11) What is a certification or capacity tag?
The certification or capacity tag is a tag affixed to an area
visible to the driver. It contains horsepower information
/ model information / person capacity / and over-all load capacity.
It is a coast guard requirement that all boats have one.
(12) Can I purchase a new capacity tag?
A replacement capacity tag may be purchased, if available, from
our service/warranty department, however, the serial number must
be provided. In some instances we may require a photo. We can
not guarantee availability beyond 3 years from current. A cost
of $15.00 USD plus $2.00 USD will be applied.
(13) What is the best engine size for my boat?
In most cases your MirroCraft dealer can provide you with this
information as it varies by the type of use you expect from your
boat. As a general rule of thumb the most economic/performance
is obtained by installing an engine with a H.P. rating 2/3 of
the maximum as rated on the capacity tag. (In other words, a unit
with a maximum of 125 H.P. would provide best all around at 2/3
x 125 = 80-90 H.P.)
(14) I would like to make some alterations to my boat - can I
get construction prints?
It is our policy that this information is classified by our engineering
department. We will not allow prints out of our files.
(15) I have some questions that my dealer can not answer. How
do I get answers?
We would suggest that you e-mail to our offices the questions
you have - they will be answered promptly. Do
not call.
