General Laborer - Sheet Metal Fabrication

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Produce parts & tools from Aluminum/Metal using a Brake Press, a computer numeric (CNC) Machine that makes precision bends, punches or cuts into the material. 
  • Make sure the machines are set up properly, working well, and producing quality product.
  • Make sure the machine is working at full capacity, are stocked with needed materials, well-maintained and perform periodic checks on output. 
  • Look at the finished product to ensure it is defect-free and ready for the next step in production.
  • Problem solving, attention to detail 
  • Work in a fast paced environment with fast changing priorities.
  • Follow all safety rules and quality standards.

REQUIRED AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Needs good visual judgment to notice errors and/or defects
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, multifunctional team oriented work environment
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in an effective way
  • Candidate has to be a strong Team player.
  • Candidate has to be reliable. Regular attendance is required.
  • Ability to work unsupervised or with minimal supervision while meeting all product quality requirements
