Material Handler/Warehouse
Position Summary:
Material Handlers are receiving and inspecting materials, completing paperwork, putting away supply, and reporting discrepancies, damage, or loss to inventory control. Material Handlers are also responsible for providing production with their parts and kit boat orders, and communicating with team members.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Able to accurately receive and inspect parts
- Able to read packing slip
- Able to count accurately
- Complete paperwork
- Put away supplies
- Able to report discrepancies, damage, or loss
- Able to use a hammer and screw gun
QUALIFICATIONS
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Punctual
- Team player
- Willing to show initiative
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Physical Requirements
- Work inside without air conditioning and outside in seasonal weather
- Able to stand and walk around all day
- Use of hands and reaching with arms and hands regularly
- Able to climb and balance regularly
- Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and bend regularly
- Must be able to lift and handle up to 75 pounds of material
